Olivia is an Austrian fashion designer. She studied in Berlin and had work experiences in New York and Buenos Aires, before moving to Milan, where she became part of the design offices at Giorgio Armani Spa for almost seven years, as a womenswear designer.

The designer’s creative approach has always been influenced by her family’s multi-cultural background with roots from Northeastern Europe and the Caribbean. Living and working in different countries, and a family spread across different continents, have shaped her style and aesthetics, always looking for depth and different angles to approach design and communication.

The designer’s interest in giving timeless garments an innovative twist in regards to design and functionality, and her passion for sophisticated outerwear, led to the creation of her eponymous brand.

OLIVIA NAUSNER doesn’t believe in endless options and products that compete for attention, therefore the brand introduces ‘one story at a time’ which translates to the launch of one garment or mini-capsules only - a sustainable approach that avoids excess waste and highlights the exclusivity of each individual garment. The main focus lies on coats and jackets, as well as the occasional accompanying piece that creates a total look.

The brand’s intention is to be free from the restraints of the strict fashion calendar, and to establish desirable clothes and ‘must-have’ items, that live in a women’s closet for many seasons to come.
